Wink New Variety of Koi!
We found a couple of new varieties today. they come from Platinum and Chagoi.

Talking Day Four!
Today we took our time and went only to two breeeders to buy. Here is some future eye candy from Aoki. If you look real closely, you might find what you need.

Aoki is always a treat. He has, without a doubt, the best Hikari varieties anywhere. Take a look.

Oofuchi Next!
Oofuchi has great Koi, and like Hosohai, he is not centrally located with all of the other breeders so finding him was a chore. We had the pleasure of Chiaki Hosokai coming with us. The first picture is Mike Perret and Chiaki Hosokai. The second picture is yours truly with Oofuchi. The third picture is all of us and the fourth is some of his higher quality Koi. The rest of the pictures show some of the Koi that will be coming back with us.

Back to Hosokai
It has been a long four days, so after Oofuchi we decided to return to the Hosokai farm to relax. When we got there we found Tadashi and Masaru unloading Oyagoi (Breeder Koi). This is always a treat because you get to see the parents of the koi you buy. It is truley an amazing sight.They dId not want me to photograph a lot of the Oyagoi, so I got a couple of close up shots and two shots of the pond they are in. Enjoy!

thank-you Russ for the cornicopia of koi pics as well as bonsai/landscape. Even found a photo of an asagi in the breeders photo....have appreciated

We have been invited to two other mud pond pulls tomorrow. One pond is Nisai and the other is Sansai. Stay tuned, we should have some great picks of Kuro Goshikis from Hosokai, maybe a few Asagi.
