Cool Day 2

Day two found us starting out at Torazo, Izumiya, Otsuka, Jirosuke, Igarashi Kazuto, Marusada and then back to Yamamatsu for the Matsunosuke private auction. Here are some pictures of some of the larger Koi we looked at. The first three are Torazo kohaku that are 70cm - 80cm. The rest are Izumiya. The first three pictures from Izumiya are Koi that are all 75cm - 80cm. The fourth is Izumiya platinums around 30cm and the last picture are the Izumiya bulls.

so often those smaller platinums are hard to find. Seems everytime I went there it was always the bigger koi ( which were all impressive ) Congrats russ on getting his 2 top showas! Toshio's reds are really impressive! You get 2 attaboys for that move, my man!

Repairs!

One of the things that really grabs you about being here is the that really grabs you about being here is the amount of work that has been done in the last two years to make repairs. In many areas it is as if nothing had happened. Here are some pictures of the many areas still being repaired.

Cool Sakai Auction!

The highlight of the day was the Matsunosuke auction. We had a great time at the Matsunosuke auction. I was fortunate enough to come away with the two top showas at the auction. Here are a few pictures of some of the people.
