Thank you for the feedback. I was kind of worried as I reread my post I realized I may have sounded a little harsh.
But I find it interesting that most hobbyists are advanced through the hobby by focusing on go-sanke. But often times it is a special fish that really catches the my at shows and not the GC. For instance Carolyn Swanson's doitsu goshiki at the San Diego show was just unreal because of the combination of quality and uniqueness. And yet is you go back to it the GC's (generally gosanke) are the superior fish, based on refinement. Sometimes it is just a little hard two balance these issues out in my head maybe. That being said I can't wait to see those beni kikokouryu (sp) once they get back to So.Cal.

Even though I understand and believe that a good wagoi kohaku is a better fish.
