Meet Hagatha. Can you see where she gets her name?

Steve,
It is a naturally occuring pattern. I bought the fish from JKO last year and that was the web site photo. I was looking at the photo some time after I bought the fish when I saw the witch. A little over a year later I can still see the witch, but I expect the pattern will change as she grows bigger.

Ha! Fun stuff! Witch in black

In the late eighties, I had a friend who owned a kohaku who had Godzilla on its back- a perfect likeness of the 1950s monster that terrorized Tokyo!

My friend in Canada has a kohaku with a red heart at the lateral line- nature is wild!

how about this one???

I looked at this one for a long time but can't make out what's all about. I see a lot of curves and slender body shape. nice comformation. nice long fins and dark silky tail. definitely not a witch but couldn't become one if mistreat.

The shiroji is tinted...maybe to much color enhancers? hahahaha Pattern does standout too well...Steve do you need me or Bob to check if it is female.. This fish has alot of potential, tateshita...if it were thrown in my bed, opps I mean pond, looks like a keeper...hahahahahaha
