Thanks for the support for koicop noting I had never posted the judges list here before. Geez, Nancy I should just take my lumps eh? Gawd,..enjoy yourself and get back to talking about the show. Heck, I'd planned on attending myself and spoke to another buddy Kai Schuman about visiting him then, but what the heck I might stir something up?

As I recall Mr. Editor your first, middle, and last responses here have been about nothing more than picking fights with me. Either stick to the subject Mr. Editor or go away. You can take up my supposed misrepresentations if I ever submit anything to KOI USA again while you reside there or in person. Frankly, my dear I don't care what you "personally" think

**Note: one retraction you might want to make at KOI USA is for the picture of Filipowski's kohaku that I wrote up about his win at the All Japan Show last year. Jordan was kind enough to provide a photo that turned out to be the wrong fish. I submitted photo credits with the piece that were not printed, but it was Jordan's. Joel complained to me about misidentifying Flip's fish and I apologized and have tried to get him back for a followup, but havn't as of yet. Maybe you can run a "retraction" and just blame it all on me since as you constantly harp on I can't get anything right. I'll be looking for it.
Gee John, I could be mistaken, but I believe a retraction/correction was given. I could be wrong though since all of that happened BEFORE any of my issues as Editor, ever went to print. But you knew that, didn't you? Supposed misrepresentations John? Try again.

Steve

Yes, I accidently sent the wrong photo that I had taken of a different kohaku at the 2006 AJS that I had mistaken for Mr. Filipowski's kokaku to John. I apologize for my mistaken identification and any concerms it may have caused anyone.

Hey Mr. Editor-In-Chief of KOI USA are you saying I should take it up with the former editor? You find that retraction sport as you have been served! And I prefer Hawley over John in your regard as you sure misrepresent or misinterpret yourself as any friend of mine

It was also already announced that there will be Japanese Shinkokai judges. This should be a GREAT SHOW! President's Day weekend, February 17-18, 2007.

Hoping some of the east coast crowd will come out for some sunshine and koi! The Del Mar Hilton, adjacent to the fairgrounds, has rooms for $115 per night. 858-792-5200.
Thanks for the terrific info. I've made my reservations for the 17th & 18th at the Del Mar, which the San Diego Koi Club was able to get a terrific rate for. Rooms typically run $209-250/night. Thanks again Jeff,

You heard right Joe. I might be there. We'll have to wait and see if everything works out though.
