I would love to hangout a day with Mr. Meada, I think the fact that he comes from the hobbyist back ground then breeder back ground sounds interesting. Plus he has the best BBQ I have tasted...hahahaha...

On top of my list would be Minoru Mano. But we all know thats not going to happen.

I guess I would choose either Susumu Shinoda, Senichi Mano, Shoji Tanaka or Shoichi Hosokai. Tough one!

His name escapes me right now but the 90+ year old retired showa breeder in Niigata who is the 4th generation of koi breeders in his family. I would love to hear him talk about the early days when his Great Grandfather and Grandfather were witnesses to the development of kohaku and sanke. Also his personal viewpoint of the development of showa which has changed so much since the 1920's. Living Koi History.

Momotaro, Mr. Maeda is a funny happy go lucky man...I like his perspective on the koi industry. From koi hobbyist and now to breeder. He has raised 5 GC champions and conditioned them to be champions. He is a very cool cat. Maybe I'll get a chance to go next to visit.
