Very nice fish - nice beni and shiroji - conformation is a little weak at this point however and if you're considering it for competition I think the bleeding of the beni into the tail will ruin it's chances to win. Just MHO.

So as far as price, maybe $250.00

Mike

I hate to say this, but Nisei Koi Farm is the only US "Domestic" Koi Farm that advertises here on this board. But I have to admit Richard has the best Domestic Kohaks I have seen...

You guys are too generous with your praise. I have a ways to go before I catch up with some of the other domestic farms. I'd want to advertise here but I blew the advertising budget on photography equipment. Just couldn't get the lighting right and so I have to take it all indoors. The fish you are seeing now are nice, but none of the pairings that produced them are still active. The nisai koi I am bringing up in two weeks are my first effort to hone in on quality. Up to that point it was mostly working on production issues in the mud. The tosai this year are another monumental leap over the previous year. It's time to turn my attention to fast tracking the tategoi and developing sufficiently secure pond space for them to reach a more accelerated growth rate. I don't want to promise too much, but standing on the pond bank watching the fish feed puts my heart in my throat. I'll know better when I have them up in the tanks and can take my time to evaluate how we did. I promised Marie something special in gratitude for introducing me to Koi-Bito and I'm going to enjoy picking it out.
