Our Thanks to Kevin for helping build our herd....

I've sorted out some of the better photos to post. Hope they come through ok. These are some of the fish we've purchased from Kevin over the past year and one half (I think it's been). I haven't finished pulling together all the details yet. As soon as I do, I'll come back and post sizes, breeder and age.

I love Shiros!! This is "Panda" (larger one) and "Julia"

Julia tends to wash out a bit once she's inside out of the natural light. She gets much darker once outside for a few days.

Another Favorite of ours....Sakuma Ginrin Showa.... Not named yet. She has taken young champ at 2 shows this year. She's only 2 years of age (If I remember correctly) This photo doesn't show how nice her body is though. She was purchased at 18" a year ago and she is now 21".

Also a nice Koda Kujaku that has taken best it variety and a judge's award and I think a friendship award this year. Purchased Jan/06 at 22". Now 23 1/2".

A few showas that we are finishing. Only time will tell if they get there or not but they are growing well.

Hoshikin Kohaku. Purchased Sept/05 @ 17.5". Now 20". This baby almost died on us last year. Huge ulcer right in front of her vent that went right through the muscle wall (you could see her insides) that we had a hard time getting on top of. She took young champ this summer in Chicago.

AuntieSue,

thanks for sharing! You have build a very nice collection so far. Did I understand correctly that you did this in only 1.5 years?
