S.n.l.

Anybody remember the original cast of Saturday Night Live? Season one they were introduced as the "Not Yet Ready For Prime Time Players". That was Belushi, Murray, Chase, etal...
Your fish are closer to "Prime Time" than you think Bro .

I don't understand it at all. It's not like anyone is selling the fish here...or even discussing prices. We are all learning a great deal from a successful breeder. It is threads like this that make koi-bito special. It is hard-core koi people discussing breeding, and the evaluation of tategoi. Let's not ruin what makes the board so special. Dammit...I want more pictures and discussion

well said... Brutuscz!!!

while it's nice to hear lotsa great successfull stories on Japanese breeders, I was actually happy to know there is also a successful breeder in CA and really didn't mind to provide some kind of support (mostly moral supports) to keep good things rolling. it's ashame that this thread came down this way.

I want it back too. I certainly hope KB doesn't play some kind of politics and killed a perfectly good thread. it would be really suck.

Steve

Thank you all!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

I am working with Jim to try and resolve the problem privately. He was perfectly correct to suggest to me that this thread had become an advertisement for my business. Even though I cleared the idea in advance, KB defines advertising as "Displaying anything that you could possibly have for sale now or in the future. No exceptions", and under this definition I am clearly out of bounds. I have floated a proposal by Brian via Jim and I'm waiting on a reply. If we can't work this out here I'll continue the thread on a different forum.

I'd be glad to have the opportunity to meet with any of the members of this forum. I could have an open house for those interested and take the day to give a tour of both locations. I'd say though don't expect Japanese quality tank facilities.

Thank you again, and have a happy Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

Richard

Well, I have made my Christmas choice from the selection of koi in this thread, though I was hoping to continue it here or elsewhere to see some inazuma kohaku representations of Richard's work before making a final.

Guess who the lucky koi is that I just couldn't get out of my mind that will be coming to Persimmon Pond soon, and why did I pick it?

(shhhhh Larry....)

*LOL* Aw now...I wanted some guesses, Sue. Maybe I should offer a hint to narrow the field--it's not a sanke.
