I think the votes for #1 have more to do with the eye's than with the words "novice" vs "beginner". Like Carolyn said... "the eyes have it" Change Novice to Beginner and you still have the same artwork.

Ummm...I've been, in a recent past life, a creative writing tutor for leagues of students from the local colleges as well as an agented writer in a far past life. If you have need of an editing eye somewhere along the road, just let me know. It's gonna be a loooong winter.
