I got by the show for the afternoon on Saturday. Surprised to see that photos haven't been posted. There were a lot of cameras working hard!


There were two koi that got everyones' attention... An awesome Dainichi Kohaku named Grand Champion, owned by Rob Nabridge. She was harvested from Ray Abell's mud pond a week ago. The volume on this huge fish was simply mindboggling:

And the other was HenryC's magnificent Chagoi, a real crowd pleaser. In 2 years Henry has grown her from about 24" to what I estimate to be 34+" today.

(I was not there for the official awards, but she had to be the Jumbo Champ.)
