| Your showa's pattern is crisp and graphic. I like the small hi at the tail that balances the small hi behind the gill. You also have an example of an unbalanced motoguro balancing the sumi pattern of the body. You should see big changes in your lightly stocked pond. Pay attention to,and enjoy, the changes in shape as well as the way the sumi pattern changes.
You asked in another post about which koi were easiest and which hardest and you've got them both in this fish. Easiest? You picked three colors beautifully placed on a male fish. Go ahead and enjoy it now. Hardest? Grow it, improve it, without hurry and almost entirely at the mercy of "luck of the draw." Keep your pond healthy and safe for your fish.
I don't think there are many sources for this fish that are not banner advertisers here, maybe a couple in California and a couple in Florida. Fess up.
I've gone back and read your previous posts, Steve. Thanks for continuing on with so little feedback. Perhaps fleshing out your user profile would be possible, certainly freindly. Mentions of big birds and palms around a pond kind of dazzle us up north guys. Details? Pics?
