I thought I'd bring this thread back up out of retirerment because we're a week or so away from deadlines to be involved.
I think it's a powerful motivator to look at the list of attendees to this event.
There is a long list of serious students of nishigoi.
When you look at the thread about ebay and kodama which seems to be popular right now, the bottom line is you need to be able to judge your purchases by knowledge that you have aquired. I can't think of anyone i have more regard for as a teacher than toshio......
also I want to say again how pleased I am that Russ has taken on the job of getting the seminar arrainged and Mr sakai here for all of us to benefit from.
In some of the chatter from the thread I mentioned here earlier, folks wanted to know the distinction of what makes a good dealer. I think helping to bring us good information to learn from certainly is one facet of being one.
If for any reason your tore between coming or not I hope you will reconsider
by investing in yourself and your own knowledge.
Russ sometimes dealers have little surprise bonuses for attendees of these kinds of functions, You wouldn't happen to have some kind of tategoi drawing
with equal footing for all as oposed to the fabulous trip of the judging excercise winner......<hint>

We may need something else to push the last minute hesitators back into serious reconsideration!!!!
