Here are a few of the contenders at the 2006 All Japan Show that I took. Usual disclaimers about photo quality.

The Showa is the Reserve Grand Champion and the second Kohaku is the Mature Champion.

Well all these fish are by their own right great. I think this was the Showa's first 2nd show if I am not mistaken. The other 2 Kohaks have won titles at other All-Japan's. The middle Kohak is a Rinkukai GC.

the last showa Brutuscz posted appears to be deformed. I know it's swimming and all but the body appears fairly straight yet the head is definitely deformed IMHO!
