Lildude, if this Kujaku looks nice to you then you must do some more studying. You might want to consider attending the Matsunosuke seminar as well.

How bout we spend some of your money instead of saving it?

Maybe this one from Genki?

Better yet

Cant link a pic to this one at Easterns but http://www.enkoi.com/buyKoi.php?id=411

There are a ton at Champ
http://www.champkoi.com/koi_for_sale...ex=&price=&sku=

And from PSKoi

Mystic doesn't have any listed on their website right now and I can't remember off hand who else advertises but click on their links and the top of the page and I'm sure you'll find more.

That one is from Champion Koi...I have seen it in person. There is a full mask one they have and it is probably the cleanest one there.

I don't have any long term experience with kujaku to judge. I appreciate the input and advice. Don't want to make a bad purchase on my christmas/hannukah gift
Do you really think this fish is beautiful? Does it make you feel like you're a part of that beauty when you're looking at it?

Pass it like gas, B. Don't go getting desperate to find a fish before Christmas. In fact, why not give yourself a gift certificate from your favorite dealer/breeder? That way you at least get a promise of a beautiful fish to come.

Just a thought,

Marie

But it ain't this one.

Part of the enjoyment is the "hunt"!! Take your time and get what you want not the booby prize! There is always the concept of the "rain check" or the "gift card" you know!!

You know..it's funny. I really thought this was the best time of year to find a koi...I mean, after the fall harvest. Plus, many people have closed their ponds for winter...so less competition to find that right koi. I have to admit...when I actually have the money in my hands, I never seem to find what I want. Gotta keep searching....find one that makes the heart palpatate!!!
What do you guys think of this ginrin shiro utsuri? I was also considering this fish. Shiro Utsuri are a favorite of mine..and I never really see a good ginrin one.
Otherwise....I will just hold the dough until my winner comes along. I don't wanna buy...just to buy.

What did you think of this one though...it is a 16 inch female. I never like a full mask with any type of koi.
