Wishing that the two fish still in Japan awaiting transport to the US will get here safe and sound AND that my big pond has no ice damage this winter. The tank heater is frozen over!! Must not be working!! Bummer!!

Oh...and I wouldn't mind a cleaning lady for 2007 so I can spend all my free time working on our new koi club and finishing my new pond next spring/summer!!

What am I wishing for?

Now that's a loooong list, since I'm such a high maintenance individual. Everything has got to be just so. Like Monk, I have my very own OCD tendencies, the greatest of which is the compulsion to see things in a particular order, from greatest need to least. I will truncate my list of Christmas wishes to the number of 3--neither 2, which is one shy, nor 4, which is one too many.

1. For one day, just one, I would like for everybody everywhere on this planet to just be friends. All grudges dropped, all slates wiped clean, just to see if the seed would grow.

2. I wish for peace and joy and much merry making, which would be guaranteed if #1 were granted.

3. And I'd give anything for a bottle of that luscious homebrewed blackberry mead I found up in Oregon somewhere. Can't remember the town, can't remember the vintner, so you can just imagine what my #4 wish would be....
