BTW, Our showa was just harvested finally. I should have a photo sometime in January. I'm also hoping she'll ship sometime shortly after that. I would like her here for the next show season. The Ueno Kohaku will stay in the mud for the winter . I guess there was no room indoors for these fish. Hopefully she also will be harvested next spring and sent home.

I checked out this Kohaku today and I have to say very impressed with it. Would love to see this fish in my pond!! I think in 1 to 2 years of conditioning it could take a serious prize at a major show.

how's the shiro look in person? It looks off in the picture, but maybe it's not long out of the mud and/or was stressed from the journey.

The Shiro was stress free, I have to say it is WAY better in person than from the pic. The sumi is more from the Seki Shiro line..Shiroji great, conformation pretty good...overall quality is very good...
