Shipping Advice Needed.

Everyone has their own methods. Here's mine....

purge fish in running water and siphon out feces twice daily for 2 days,

double the bags, fold over the upper edge a few times, and add water,

add salt to get 0.3%

add 1 teaspoon of Chloram-X per 5 liters of water,

add one-quarter teaspoon slime coat per 5 liters water,

pack 700 grams of fish per liter of water for moving stuff locally,
pack 250 grams of fish per liter of water for overnight shipments,
pack 100 grams of fish per liter of water for 2-day shipments,

add 2 liters of oxygen for every liter of water,

twist and rubber band the inner bag, then twist and rubber band the outer bag (as opposed to tying them both at once)

1 heat pack per box when going to the frozen north,
1 cold pack per box when going to through Dallas or Atlanta in summer,

double bag, styro box, cardboard box, clear tape,

its always better to ship koi in the winter then in the summer. 40 hours youll make it.
