Things are really coming together for the ZNA Central Florida Koi Show set for March 9-11 in Orlando. Check out the speaker schedule at
www.cfks.org . Ray Jordan is doing triple duty! Plus ... a wet lab, a ZNA judging seminar, a Friday "fun night", the ZNA Presidents' meeting.... and the show is coming along great. Rumor has it that there are going to be some dynamite Shiros entered (Auntie Sue: You'll have competition!!)
Virtually all vendor spaces are taken. Genki and Eastern are coming from California. (I'm holding a space for Champ a couple more days because Tom and Agnes have been taking time off.) Quality Koi/Nisei Koi Farm is coming from New Jersey. Purdin Koi is making a first time appearance (and I'm told there are some special Kohaku being brought that folks would not guess are domestic). Carl Forss/Keirin Koi has a couple of booths. Ray Abell is coming.... altogether, out of 50 vendor booths only 5 are unassigned (which includes ones I'm holding for returning vendors who've not committed). It is going to be quite a "Koi Fair". The best dealers from both coasts, and lots of dry goods vendors.
And, of course, the great raffles we expect. A special treat is coming from Kevin Pham. He is donating a raffle koi that he says will be "a special koi". He will be sending a pic in a couple of weeks. The last time he did this, it was an awesome female Sanke that has been an award winner in every show she has been in.
If you've not made reservations, better do it soon to lock in the low show rate at the hotel.
It's gonna be a great show.
