So our club has started hiring 2 guys from homedepot to setup and breakdown the show, it cost us $400 and 4 lunches for the workers. For the last couple years we have helped a local ZNA club set up there show, most of the members are much older than us. So they are unable to do a lot of the manual labor. They even hire a couple guys to help with set up and breakdown. I remember last year Art & Nicole even helped with the setup. Here in California, I would say the majority of the clubs are facing the same problems, everyone wants a show, but each club has only a handful of workers, and this gets very discouraging, they get burnt out from being so overwhelmed, I remember a couple years ago another club here locally were the show chairman had to leave the banquet he was feeling so bad from over exertion. And was in bed for a week. Heck for the last 3 years at our show, I have been sicker than a dog, I remember trying to entertain the judges and all I did was cough, and blow my nose. I was a walking virus.
