The site doesn't say what it is??? They do, however, make some incredible claims;

The most advanced formulation of pond conditioning tablet on the market today, this tablet can condition your pond and help keep your Koi healthy by using its virucidal formulation against harmful bacteria, viruses and fungus.
This unique product is specially designed for Koi, in trial ponds it enhances the Koi's environment, allowing them to look great and feel great this leads to a greatly improved appetite allowing for better growth. This revolutionary product is a must have for any Koi Keeper.
The product also has a dual purpose and can also be used as an equipment sanitiser. Used in this way the product is successful in controlling all major Bacteria, Viruses and Fungi and displays unparalled results wiping out viruses such as Koi Herpes Virus (KHV) as well as all others.
We have also seen results that a pond conditioned with VIRASURE-KOI also became free of thick Blanket Weed.
Protect your collection and investment by using VIRASURE-KOI Conditioning tablets.

Sorry, Paul . . .

but I've never read anything about it on any of the boards I frequent.

Like Bill says, the site does not explain what it is or how it works. Absent some explanation of the how behind the what, I wouldn't spend money on it or put it in my pond.

It's an alternative product to the aquatic version of Virkon S which is/was an antiviral disinfectant used widely in the livestock industries in the UK.

Virasure is the aquatic version of Victor ( I may have that spelling wrong) a newer antiviral product used in the same way as Virkon S.

There was an article about it in one of our Koi Mags, I'll try and find it.

Like Virkon its primary function is to prevent the spread of viral diseases, but there have been some surprising side-effects like the ones you mention. A friend of mine uses it and he noticed that the protein-foam that used to collect in overhanging plants instead of going into the skimmer disappeared.

On the show circuit Virasure has virtually replaced Virkon S as the disinfectant/sanitizer of choice.

Thanks, Bern . . .

I understand using difinfectants for tubs, tanks, nets, hands and feet.

What I don't understand is why adding a disinfectant to one's pond water should benefit one's koi?

Unless they tell you what's in it..how it works, and some studies to prove it...don't waste your money. Plus...If they say it works on bacteria, fungus, virus, algae...be suspicious. There is no shot gun remedy that treats all those things..and doesn't hurt your fish. If you want to treat everything...use bleach, then start over.

i wanted to try it and see a few things.
I have a platinum butterfly that has growth like carp pox but is small in size is not getting bigger even warm summer weather with water temps in the 80 has had no effects on it.looks like a calusus and is confined only on fins.
also have a sorogi that has this bump kind of like the other koi on its lower tail fin, this koi the tail will be red and actually eats away the tail.sometimes it does not look so bad other times it looks worse.been about 5 years that i have had this koi.I have tryed alot of treatment prcedures on the koi and nothing has made it better.can not figure out what to do.the butterfly could just go away.but the other one is named precious(by my now 9 year old hence the getting rid of thing)
so i wanted to see if this product could be the thing i am looking for.
my few notes and not endorements yet this early.seems the water has been a touch clear and koi seem to have a little more appetitte.i had a lightning/electric problem few months back and a "few bottom dwellers" still and was hoping this would help keep any problems away from them also.
so giving it a shot and if its a waste of money, could be one of the cheaper things i have wasted money on over the years.
