Food for koi

Looking around the grocery store today for new natural koi food ideas, and was wondering about adding bananas to my growing list which includes; nappa cabbage, cooked shrimp, oranges, watermelon, green peas, and earth worms??

i saw breeders feed chinese cabbage, not cooked.

i myself give them salat and slices of orange and lemon (wihout skin).

also they like cooked noodles, rice and smacks , or slices of soft bread.

My recent visit to Japan I have seen Daikon foating around in the pond. I think they were letting them graze on the green leafy part..

I know the actual radish part is high in Vitamin C..

The Leafy part has Beta carotene, Calcium vitamin C and Iron

Grapefruit is always a hit with mine. I think trial and error wil let you decide what they like..
Alot of folks(me included) take their pelleted food and add garlic to it..
