I have nothing against pond mutts either. I've got plenty in my pond and they're just as special to me as the "high-quality" ones...

I had the same thing happen to me when I first caught the koi bug. I posted some pics of my precious pond mutts and got hammered for it. Don't worry about it and welcome to Koi-Bito. Not everyone here cares only about show-quality koi...
