We all started as newbies with starter fish. Mine were ugly, too. But we don't post those kinds of koi here unless -- like Cindy -- we're making a point of showing how far we've come in the hobby.

Look, I saw you run the same scrolls of the same pix of the same fish on two other boards I belong to -- and I never said a thing, did I? No, I didn't.

Every koi board is different and their members have their own levels and interests. Just think of 'Bito as Koi Uninversity and maybe you'll understand why folks here really don't enjoy looking at scrolls of speckldigois and pond mutts, however much you might love them.

'Bito has a lot to offer and we're glad to see you here.

As for photos? Pix of koi shows and show koi -- now that will get us sitting up straight and drooling. Pond builds and DIY's are hot, too. As always,

That's true...you have been kind not to say anything up to this point. I appreciate it. Not sure I would agree that they are ugly...they just aren't show quality....just pond quality mutts...I agree.

I plan on upgrading once the money rolls in from my public service job.

yeah...that won't happen anytime soon! Thanks though for your comments. I really do appreciate them....just know that I cannot get higher quality fish anytime soon. I won't post the pictures again on this site. I promise.

I figured I wouldn't get much in the way of comments....wasn't really lookin for any....just figured I would post what I have so that you could all see where I was at in the hobby (obviously on the low part of the totem pole).
