The first one is my favorite. Nice thick tail tube, good tail stop, pleasing pattern, nice shape. This fish has it all. #2 has a pattern that I think would look a little distracting on a large fish. I don't care for the pattern on the 4th one at all.

I like the 1st and 3rd. Both have big fish patterns....good sashi and kiwa as well. The 4th one has a very pink head. The second...pattern may be sparse with further growth. If I was buying...take #1.

Thank you both for your replies. I actually prefer the first one too. Being rather new to koi, I'm not sure if its right to ask this here but about how much should I consider spending on the first one?

Normally the pic's on the site are too small.

I agree that No1 aprears to be the better fish now, but No 3 looks interesting as well. Can you share with us the sex and age?

Number 1 is the One

Very good bones portend real growth potential, best overall body conformation by far, and the only one with a pattern strong enough to keep up with growth to 75cm+. I'd like to say more about the skin quality, but this one looks to be photoshopped to the point that I really can't tell what it really looks like.

Thanks Mojo. Didn't realise that. Probably best to stay away then.

THats the trouble with buying online.unless you are familair with the breeder and his koi, second guessing could be a very costly purchase.
Get to know a dealer.if you can in Cyprus? Word of mouth is another excellent way of finding quality fish.
