I like A, and might have picked C to put back in the pond, but the pecs really bother me, and I am concerned about the yellow in its head. B is okay, but I find the two spots of hi on its back distracting. I suppose, properly placed sumi could mitigate that., but I'm not thrilled with the pecs on A, either, though I suppose the problem with the pecs on B and C could just be the pictures.

Nice teaser!

C is so beautifully laid out and such a nice body, except for the yellow head. Was the pic taken straight out of the mud?

A and B are too unfinished, but nice whites.

I'll leave it to the certified judges to decide how to balance it all. I think A is the deserving tategoi, but I'd put C in the pond because I like Showa so much.

More info...

Sanke A is Momotaro...

Sanke B is Matsunosuke...

Sanke C is Ogata...The sumi is solid and blocky so maybe Jimbei is mixed in.

Each Sanke shares the Matsunosuke bloodline.

Good: C
Better: B
Best: A

I'd put both A and B back in the mud, and bring C in to a finishing pond to see if that yellowed shiroji can be buffed up to at least a decent shade of cream....
