Ah, it's not just the wife, my DH doesn't get it either. I just spent the last 20 minutes explaining why we should spend $ on a 500 watt heater to quarentine for three weeks. I've been told now my $50 dollar fish is now $100.
Good thing I didn't say anything about my $90 dollar Marusai chagoi that's arriving in 3 weeks. And will be heat tested for another three weeks. And hey, I'm doing it on the cheap! lol! But I love him anyway too! lol~!

Hi from Idaho

Okay Guys - now I have my own identity. Yes, I am a koi aholic and I'm on a 12-step program..................but I haven't found a 12-step koi yet, so I'm still shopping!!! Here I am with my new friend Kari (on the right) and an old pal Larry Gill--he's the one in the middle!! If this picture posts okay, I'll add more.

"Redneck Koi Girl", than handle fits! Now we all understand why Gene clicks his heels and salutes (ever wonder what a redneck salute might look like?). Those koi they call pets couldn't have better koi keepers watching over them. Still remember designing their koi facility, three versions presented but the one that stuck, indoor pond to keep predators out and year around koi comfort at the top of the list. That-a-girl or should I salute to "Redneck Koi Girl", as Gene says "for the love of koi"

Sakai-San

And here's one of Agnes Kan, Toshio Sakai and Miwa Sakai explaining the results of the koi judging. I wish I knew 1/10th of what those three know about koi!!

The 3 of us

We three girls had such a great weekend that I can't wait to do it again. Maybe we can coax some of the California folks up to North Idaho and Spokane???
