I would make my pond bigger, maybe to 15,000 gals...add a heater and O2 generator.

On another board . . .

On another board, I've been learning all about how "the Anoxic Filtration system that Dr. Novak has developed is introducing mud pond dynamics instead of sewerage works dynamics" in koi ponds. I'm so excited.

Think I'll sell off most of my expensive equipment: Air domes (2), 80 L air pumps (2), no niche skimmers (2), Ultima II 4000 filters (2), Artesian pumps (3/4 hp & 1/3 hp), 80 watt UV and biofiltration tanks (2) with J-mat cartridges.

Just think of the money I'll save on electric and water bills, too!

With the proceeds I can build a bog, buy some plants and a couple bags of kitty litter, and live happily ever after.

The End.

A proper liner and finished teak edges all around. Oh, and permanent plumbing now that I have this flow through system figgered out. In the end, it'll be next year's spawning pond and everyone else will be out in the mud....

OH, where do I start? Find my leak, heat the smaller new pond, finish the smaller new pond, add a Sacr. Bead and Glass filter to the big pond, replace my skimmer in the big pond, FINISH THE LANDSCAPING FINALLY...and...and...and....

When does the "sitten and sippen" start?
