Headache: I have 7 going in the mud in NJ. One is quite special, but she was selected for me by Henry & Dick, so I kinda think of her as a "group project". There is one in particular that stole my heart as a tosai that I have great interest in seeing develop. Her name is "Tattoo". This her last October. From approx. 7" to 19" after 5 months in the mud.

Nice looking fish looking at scales you can see the growth you will have to tell me all about them in Orlando . I am leaving on Mon and I will spend a few days looking at breeders and wholsalers with my friend who has a large water garden centre to see what we can find
Regards
Eugene

MikeM . . .

very nice. Just enough magic shows through in the pix to see why she's so special to you.

Well, there was a tosai Showa that ended up with a bad fin over the summer. But, I had the insurance Nisei offers. So, this little one will be going to the mud to give me a surprise come October. ....Perhaps not a jazzy fish, but a subtle beauty in the making?

thank-you Jim, I did miss that bit of news, so thanks. The skin on that koi was really nice and the color was perfect for the age...
