can this (or any) hobby board afford to have as a member hypothetical Mr. A. who, when spited by hypothetical member Ms. B., emails her boss and not only attempts to get her in trouble but threatens her employer with an adverse publicity campaign?

If so, whom amongst us is safe from such underhanded and cowardly attempts to blackmail us into silence in the future? Will only the retired and the unemployed be safe from these tactics???

The simple answer is that there should be zero tolerance for this sort that sort of thing anywhere.......let alone a hobby.....

i have personally heard the threats left on answering machines....

the lengths and that some folks will go to and the depths that others will sink to, on order to attain some sort of personal gratification, idolizement, diety status would astonish many.......and some none....

and now also the inverse.....

to take those already established respected leaders of the hobby and tear them down.....for no other reason then jealousy...

our only hope is for folks to take a look at history.......and learn by it...

hopefully time will allow wounds to heal....and most to see the "light."

as with most things in life....it takes time.....time to find who your real friends are.....and time to find those you can really trust.....

and yes.....joe....

Being the "poster boy" for similar tactics. It never ceases to amaze me how some poeple cannot fend for themselves and how they become compelled to take disagreements between parties and aqttempt to leverage their position through other less scrupulous tactics. This is just the latest example, this time from our favorite "spin" journalist, Mr. Hawley.

Although Nancy may have been a tad harsh in her description og him as a parasite, it wou;d seem based on Mr. Hawley's latest that perhaps Nancy was "spot on."
