Hi Dick,

As a matter of fact I am leaving in a week. I will be spending two days with Toshio and four days in Niigata. I am afraid it will be too soon for the spring show, but the opportunity has come up to see some of Toshio's Tategoi and I would not miss it for the world. I will post more information and pictures on that soon.

While in Niigata I will be meeting with Hosokai and Marusada to go Koi hunting for a few special needs. I will post more later on that as well.

when i was an adult and christmas was not quite the same....but I could appreciate it once again when kids came along....I kinda feel the same way with being with some first time Japan travelers....to see the wonderment in their eyes and re-experience the joy of possibility...I can appreciate VERY much what your saying....
