This Koi was bought 2 years ago, by one of Ken's customers in Brazil. They have been trying to get there paperwork for 2 years. Well Last July the paperwork was in order on both ends USA & Brazil. The fish were going to ship out, well World Cup was going on and Brazil just new that they were going to be in the finals, so they delayed the shippment, because they were going to be partying in Brazil when they won the cup.. Anyone from another country knows how these people live and breath Futbol, My hubby is from Peru and he is the same way. So Ken did not ship the fish, and they did not win the World Cup. Well 7 months later they still cannot get there paperwork in order. So they cancelled the deal.. And Don & Brenda just happen to come in to pick up his thermos( that he keeps loosing). And that was the very day the fishie became available..

Brenda and I are still shaking our heads in amazement: One day sooner, the koi would not have been available; one day later, I'm sure it would have been gone. Koi karma?

Looking at the world through "Rose Colored Glasses" should make this fish as happy as its lucky new owners It is a very distinct look you got lucky on for sure.
