I do not think that any of them will be show material a lot depends on your buget and if you like them yourself . If I had to bet for the long run it would be on no 3 as I like the beni and there is a chance that the sumi on the head barely visible might come through . If the photos are in proportion to each other then it is a male . With zoom lenses it is difficult to tell what the lens focal length was set at . Myself I would never again buy from a photo unless recommended by a dealer or breeder I could trust .

Mojo: Dick's idea is a good one. Contact Brady at Lotusland and he will find one to match your budget that tops the JKOs you posted. Or check the Quality Koi website catalog. Their "select" grade is superior to the 3 JKOs. If you go for Hi Showa, there is one being offered for under $200 that I thought looked pretty good. (If there was more Shiro, I think the price would rocket up quite a bit.) Shipping cost can become a hurdle... but you just might decide to get a companion to share the trip. Don't get turned off by the "domestic" label. Get turned on by the fish.

that right, Super, in Japan ! Brett never have showa. last year he has lot of dinachi showa, i bought 5, now probably keep only 2. Japan koi dealer in town never have showa, last year have couple, i bought 4, now keep only 1. man, try to buy a 15" showa will be easier, but rarely have. tomorow, i head on to San Antonio for the hunt. Mr Ray and his friend probably waiting with a sharp knife! All my showa 8" is in the range of 100-200, but still don't look as good as JKO. thank again to all your reply.

Hi, mojo. I wish they were but it belong to my friends in Japan
These tosai are not $20 but they enjoy to pick up inexpensive ones and I 've got a lots of ideas/hints from them so, I hope that I can share something with........
