A rock covered with eggs from last spawning was left behind when matts and ropes were transfered to hatching tanks out at the farm. I chucked the stone into a 250 gallon rubbermade stock tank and filled it with fresh well water. Had pretty much forgotten about them until one of the kids told me that there were a bazillion fry in the tank (more like a couple of hundred) Drove out to the farm and found a pond with a pretty nice cyclops hatch. Dinner is served.........:

At least nothing was wasted. While at the Hosokai farm i noticed a small bucket of Tosai culls and wondered what they were for. Fairly soon after their cat wandered by and Tadaschi pulled out a Tosai and gave it to the cat. They have a very, very happy cat.
