Thank you Ray, We have decided to go ahead with the event. We spoke with Burt and he is all for it. We have a group of 25 Maruyama Kohaku that we bought the same time as the Yamamoto Showas. They have been here in quarantine waiting for another event. We have decided to release them at the same time as the Yamamoto Showas and have this years event be Yamamoto/Maruyama growout challenge.

Adding the Maruyama Kohakus to the event will really add some spice. I was with Russ when he selected these in January. The kohaku are even bigger and better than last years group. I know of some that have already grown to 18" from the original size of 10" in one season. Some of these girls, yes, they are females, are already 12+".
