I don't recall? I got the photo from the All Japan show album. But I have to be honest, I've seen several picture so asagi like this over the years. It can't be too rare an occurrence?
What is really amazing about the full collection of ALL JAPAN albums is that it represents all, or certainly most of, the very best fish ever produced in the entire history of koi production. You can not only see those famous gosanke we all know, like the Inazuma showa, but all the kawari that Rinko published, Nichirin published and The Japanese magazines published ( Nishikigoi today). After all, this is where all those pictures came from or where the breeder brought that 'hot' koi to after it was acknowledged by the koi press.
You can see the famous 'Orca' kumonryu. The perfect tancho white and black goshiki that was pictured everywhere for a few years. You can see the red tancho yamabuki, the famous jumbo fish --- they are all within those pages. Very cool.
