I just purchased new koi and found that they had laid eggs in the quarantine tank. Needless to say they were fertilized and now I have many many fry. I netted them out and now have them in their very own quaratine tank. They are growing very fast!! I was curious what they should be eating? I have been feeding them frozen and live brine shrimp plus some algae from the pond. This is my first expierience with fry, so this is very exciting. Each day I visit them they seem to get just a bit larger. They are now 2.5 weeks old and some are starting to show color. Some are solid black and some seem to have red spots. It'll be educating to see them grow and change. I only rescued about 100-200 fry. I just don't have the facility to keep any more than that. Should be fun to watch their progression.
