Virus Neutralization (VN) testing

I’m curious as to why we don’t see more talk about VN testing for KHV antibodies. We mostly just hear about the ELISA testing.

My understanding is that it is commonly available, more accurate, has fewer false positives and the blood does not need to be centrifuged. The test does take considerably longer to get the results, but if the koi are in quarantine any way it’s not that much of an issue.
