I was wondering if these fish are out of QT and avaible for sale? Also I have been reading on other boards that some dealers are blood testing their fish for KHV, will these fish come with a health certificate too with the breeder certificate?

Since these fish have certificates from the breeder will these fish be gruanteed to be female or how does that work if one gets a supposed female and it turns out to be male. Will you refund or replace the fish.

Thanks much.

We are heating all of the Hoshikin Kohaku, but will be testing a random sampling of 20%. If there is a specific Kohaku you would like to buy, I would be happy to test it for you.

The certificates do not state the sex of the Kohaku. They are developed enough that it has been obvious, in the Kohaku that I have looked at so far, that they are females. Do you have a specific Kohaku you would like to purchase?

I'll probably wait until your done with your QT process before I start to inquire about the fish. I like some of the kohakus another dealer brought in from the same breeder, plus he is offering to leave the fish in Japan in the mud pond. Thanks again.

Hi Mike,

The pictures are done for a while. The Kohaku are going through QT. They are all being heated and I want to leave them alone during this process. Drawing blood will be enough stress so I don't want to add to it.

Hi Russ, I was wondering if you have any pics of the fish out of QT yet? I was curious to see how the procedure of drawing blood goes, do you have any notes on that or pics you can share with us on the board. Thanks, again.
