This is my new koi collection. They are about 16-22". I know they are not that good but these are the best koi that i could pick from where i bought it. I'm still new here and need your comments so that i could improve more in buying koi. I appreciate your comments. Thanks!

That is around 21 pcs all in all. They are all big. I have about 9 fish ponds at home from different sizes.
Here are my fish ponds at home.

Hi,

some of the koi are not bad. The Tancho Sanke is not bad at all and there are 3 Kohaku which look promising. One is on the very left side of the first picture but the head is not on the picture anymore. The second one is on the bottom right side but also the head is cut. That koi seems to have a nice inazume pattern. The third koi is on the top right corner and looks like a nice 4-step Kohaku, eventhough it looks like 2nd and 3rd pattern are not fully separate.

Sven,

Thanks! Here is the Inazuma Kohaku you're referring to:

I like the pattern a lot coz it zigzags from front to back and its actually one of my favorite koi from the the group. The tancho sanke is really the best among the group because of the perfect red circle on his head and the sumi is great. The four step kohaku is also great and yeah, you're right, the 2nd and 3rd step is close enough but its good enough. Thanks!

Give yourself a little credit.

Several of the Sanke and Kohaku look very nice, and I like your pond garden. You have a very colorful collection that should give you a great deal of pleasure.

Hi,

I saw that you replaced the 2nd pic. The Sanke on the very left looks like a superb koi. Difficult to figure out whether its Tsubo Sumi on the tail section but I think the pattern is really great. Overall they are all not bad but the particular fishes I mentioned are my personal favorites

Thanks! I really enjoyed watching them. After 3weeks of placing them in a quarantine pond, I place some on my main fish pond where i placed my old collection.
Here's a picture of joining the new koi to my old koi (20-30"):

Ya, i replaced the second pic to that new picture to have a better view of all the koi i bought. Ya, the sanke looks great and it is one of my favorite. I'll take a closer picture of that sanke when I have the chance. I have them last 1st week of May2007. Need to improve their body shape and color. They have grown about 2-4" after 2-3 weeks with me and it was great. Thanks!
