Here go mine:

I'm a bit embarssed to show it after seeing some of the other members ponds. At the time I built it I didn't know chit and have been trying to make it better as I go (my advice to anyone going this route would be save your money and build the proper pond once, don't build a chit pond and try to fix it. Doing that cost more money and takes much more time and effort).

Anyway as it sits today:

BD and skimmer fed to --->55 gal. SC with 250 micron screen ---> sequence 4200 pump ---> 55 gal. moving bed (approx 3L of bioflow 9) ---> 200 gal. chamber with areated pvc strapping ---> and somewhere in the mix is a 40 watt UV and a bunch of areation.

Total gallons is 2,300

here is my pond...

the pond is basically finished but the landscaping is not done yet...14000 gallons ....eight feet deep..two bottom drains..each feeds a set of three vortex tanks..out of the last vortex on one run water goes to an advantage 15 bead filter and 120 amp uv lite and on the other run, the water is pumped through a bakki shower with bacteria house media..my turnover is almost 10000 gallons per hour i have four below surface jets and two waterfalls...i also bought the parts for plumbing an air pump into the media vortexes..but haven't plumbed it yet...i also would like to add a heating system before winter....as far as growth rates...i don't know yet...just added fish at the end of april ...still establishing the bio filter and working out the kinks...
