NoCal Koi Dealers / Koi Wish List...

My wife and I are planning to spend an entire week in the NorCal / SF Bay area in early September and I'm hoping to get a chance to visit some of the local Koi dealers in the area during our stay -- especially Peters & Sons and Genki. Aside from these two vendors (and Koi-Bito sponsors), is there anyone else I should plan to visit during our stay?

On a related note, after doing some major culling I am currently on the hunt for some nice Koi to add to our pond. I don't have much free time to go Koi shopping nowadays and I've yet to go the online route, so I'm hopeful that I'll be able to find what I'm looking for during our trip. I'm hoping to add the following varieties to our pond sometime this summer...

Shiro Utsuri
Asagi (female)
Doitsu Kohaku
Lemon Hariwake
Gin Rin Chagoi
Sorigoi

If anyone has something you think I might be interested in, please contact me via PM or via my site...

Joseph

Champion Nishikigoi and Tse Koi are two bigger dealers in San Jose area. Champion has a banner on koi-bito.

Steve...thanks for reminding me about Champ Koi. I definitely will visit them while I'm in town. I'll try to stop by TSE Koi as well...

Eugene...I actually purchased a few Marusei chagois from Kevin a few months back. He actually drove all the way down to Gardena to drop them off for me so I could save on shipping. He's definitely an awesome guy -- great Koi at reasonable prices. I'm sure I'll buy more from him in the future...

So now I have four dealers to visit during my trip to the Bay...

Peters & Son Koi
Genki Koi
Champ Koi
TSE Koi

Wow, thanks Aquitori. Looks like I'll have a busy few days. The wife & I are actually planning to retire out in the SF Bay area, but that won't be for another 30 years or so...

Too bad you can't plan your trip for the last weekend of the month for the Camellia show in Sacramento. Scads of vendors should be there and, of course, some of the best koi will be on exhibit.
