Koi Show awards

What do the different awards at various shows mean? Like some shows have a Presidents award or a judges awardI know all the normal ones and I'm sure each club have awards that mean something to that Club but sometimes you hear a fish won a award at the show and don't know for sure what it means. As a example at a show one of my fish won the President Award an I'm not sure what it means except the trophy sure is big and pretty..

Awards like the Presidents Award are usually given out to special or unique Koi. They will usually look for something that has not won an award, but deserves recognition.
