I also like those old Movies I even visited the movie studio and they told me that the bridge I was standing on and the moat near it has been used in many of the old movies. I started noticing that afterward and each time I see the bridge I keep thinking wow how they make it look so big in the movies! I even got to visit the Firemen's gathering room from the TV show Abarenbo Shogun and couldn't believe how big that room looks on TV but how small it is in person .

The biggest thing that I've been noticing though is how I seem to be getting shorter as time goes on... When I made my first trip to Japan in 1990 I remember riding the trains and seeing the top of everyones head and I'm not that tall at 5'10" at least at home. Now days when I go to Japan I am average height and blend right in... pretty much being a Asian guy from Hawaii.
