Also, this subject was hard for me to understand so i posted for 2 reasons.

I made another thread because Im not sure I really understood water quality then,
so basically I wrote my theory on water quality here. Also, Most of what I referred to you all is still correct in a koi pond. The only thing that would differ is Biological Oxygen Demand. <----being much more for a koi pond, so a constant reliable source is needed in artificial systems. but you probably already that.
