from my fishing days, I never met a fish that didn't have an interest in worms. but wondering what your thoughts are on commercially raised ones.....like our chickens....we pay more for range and organically raised ones. The preception is they are more valuable health wise. Could this concept apply to worms. I know they can be fed certain foods which could be in their gut when processed and available nutritionally to our koi?

anyone hear of when it might be available here in the states?

I understand that Mystic Koi either has it now or will in the immediate future. Koi Enterprise in the Sacramento area is scheduled to have it in the first part of July. I have my order in with Anthony already.

The new EA ONE food will be available here in the US sometime mid to late July. This product was released in the UK just last weekend at the BKKS show. FDA approval for import to the US was granted just this week. So, figure a week to load the container, transit time, and final US customs clearance... yea, mid to late July.

BTW - Also of interest is the manufacturing process employed. Dragon Feeds has developed a unique process which allows them to manufacture the food at very low temperatures, thus reducing nutritional losses. This process, I've been told, is complicated and requires the better part of a day to set up for manufacturing runs.

Also, it should be available through most of the US EA dealers listed here (look for the green EA tag) - Dealer Listing

Kind Regards,
Bill
