There are 35 but smallest is 20in . I keep reducing as fish grow . The pond is spring fed and during the summer there is only enough water to allow for evapuration so I feel I am overcrowded as simmilar ponds in Japan they would put in only 10 fish to give the best conditions for them to develop .
I have 4sets of air stones run by a 1/3 hp compressor pump so I am sure that helps in my overcrowding . Besides that there are over a 1000 young 1in fish but they do not compete for same food source . I will start culling with minnow traps when they get a little bigger

There are pics of Eugene's pond in posts #34 and 37 in the "how to build a mud pond" thread. The pic I was looking for, but didn't find, was of the pond drained. Grand Canyon!
