18 Boxes from Matsunosuke!
Yesterday, Kari and I got 18 boxes of Tosai from Toshio Sakai ranging in size from 6" to 12". I took some pictures when I unloaded them and some today that are a little better. I apologize but some of them are shadowy and a little blurry. I think you can still get a good idea of what we got though.

Totally Off the Subject
Here is a Tancho Goshiki from Otsuka. I never posted it when I got it in October because the Tancho got a big scratch across it. The beni has grown back.

Something New
When I was in Isawa in March I noticed Asagi and Shusui in Toshio Sakai's ponds. Miwa said the each year her father likes to add a different variety to the mix. This year it is Asagi / Shusui. They aren't great but not bad for a first try.
