Just got my June 2007 Nicherin and Duke's article about his special Jumbo Kohaku named Yoko. Duke talks about buying the koi in Japan and then it's development 1st in Japan and later in his pond that led up to winning GC at the All Bay area Koi Show in 2006.

Thank you Duke for sharing this koi story with all of us. I wish we could get more indepth information about other great koi as well.

Pretty interesting story of his Dainichi Kohak. I think his Kohak got first place in 85bu or something like that...
