Sinking koi pellets

What options do I have to feed a sinking koi pellet without any color enhancers? Where is it stocked?

all I've been able to find is hikari sinking wheatgerm. I have heard they make sinking staple but have never found it stocked anywhere so I too would like to know a source. Both have shrimp meal however

Hi, Ray.

Hi Silk pellets (large ones) - soak them in 50% pond water dosed with garlic powder and some billion pro liquid for 15 mins. or so, only. (otherwise they get mushy)
Throw a large ladle to the pond. Some will sink slowly; others float. Koi attack like piranha.

I get mine from Anthony at Koi Enterprise. koienterprise.com

Before import regs. changed, Love Star food with 1/2 sinking, 1/2 floating. Great stuff.

Hikari sinking wheatgerm is all I can find. The so-called slow sinking pellets have been unsatisfactory. Nearly half float.

<sigh> you and me both...maybe we could ask the new EA food folks to consider a sinking worm food. cause worms just naturally sink!

Ray, I am curious why are you looking for sinking pellets? I know floating pellets were created so we can view our koi better. But have you found there is an advantage to sinking pellets we need to check into.
Thanks,
Bob
